Golf Digest Editor's Choice Award

Golf Digest Names DJGS Among the Game’s Top Facilities

The Dustin Johnson Golf School has added a significant achievement to its growing list of accolades.

With Golf Digest recently publishing its 2019 Editors’ Choice list of “Best Golf Schools & Academies,” the Dustin Johnson Golf School is now recognized by the game’s renowned publication as one of the country’s 26 elite institutions of higher golf learning. It joins such critically acclaimed facilities as the Leadbetter Golf Academy at Championsgate and Mike Bender Golf Academy in Florida, Jim McLean Golf Center in Texas and Butch Harmon School of Golf in Nevada.

The magazine even went so far as to spotlight the Dustin Johnson Golf School in the introduction to this list, saying:

“Places like the Dustin Johnson Golf School can’t promise you 350-yard tee shots like their namesake, but their advanced-player schools are on the cutting edge for aspiring scholarship winners and professionals. They teach how to play, not just how to swing.”

The Dustin Johnson Golf School joins two other golf schools in the Southeast recognized by Golf Digest, alongside the Sea Island Golf Performance Center in St. Simons Island, Georgia and the Tommy Cuthbert Golf Learning Center at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in Charleston, South Carolina.

“We’re extremely proud to have achieved this recognition from Golf Digest. To be honored alongside such golf instruction greats as David Leadbetter, Butch Harmon and Jim McLean is truly humbling, and inspires us to continue our efforts to reach new heights of excellence,” said Allen Terrell, director of coaching at the Dustin Johnson Golf School. “We remain as committed as ever to providing exceptional, world-class instruction that will keep us in the forefront of America’s leading golf schools for years to come.”
